Two buildings on one site on Skye. The Gatehouse, a stay Andrew lets to guests, and The Studio, the room he keeps for his own work.
We photographed both across a single visit, from first light to after dark, with aerials to place them in the landscape.
Chapter 01
The Gatehouse
A guest stay set into the heather. Weathered and warm timber outside, timber floors and full-height glass within, every room turned towards the water.
After Dark
Chapter 02
The Studio
Andrew's own workspace, raised on stilts on the same site. Board-lined walls, books and models, low autumn sun and a window over the water.
